Vigil Held For Deceased Purdue Student

(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - A candlelight vigil was held for Patrick Trainor Wednesday evening in West Lafayette.

The vigil was originally set up to pray for his safe return. Instead, friends gathered to remember the 19-year-old Purdue freshman.

Authorities pulled his body and car from an Indianapolis area retention pond.

He had been missing since Saturday.
