(TERRE HAUTE, IN) - 151 employees at Indiana State University have accepted early retirement packages in an effort to reduce payroll expenses.
The university says 34 administrative and professional staff members took the early retirement offer, along with 35 faculty members and 82 support staffers.
ISU President Dan Bradley announced in January that the university would need to eliminate up to 100 jobs because of state budget cuts.
