(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Department of Workforce Development is looking to put young Hoosiers to work.
The agency is accepting applications for about 2,000 summer jobs through Indiana's Young Hoosiers Conservation Corps program.
Workers between the ages of 18 and 24 will earn $8.50 or $9.50 an hour for up to 24 weeks.
They will create recreational trails, restore natural habitats, perform road cleanups and help with traffic sign maintenance. (apply online at www.in.gov/yhcc)
