(SOUTH BEND, IN) - The U.S. Department of Energy is awarding Notre Dame University a $2.5 million dollar grant for a research project that it says could fundamentally change the way the country uses and produces energy.
The school and the Mid-Atlantic Technology, Innovation and Research Center will use the funding to study solid compounds.
