(TERRE HAUTE, IN) - 19 people have been indicted for alleged methamphetamine trafficking in Terre Haute.
All 19 defendants are charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.
The indictment charges that Wesley Hammond, an inmate at the New Castle Correctional Facility, used a cell phone while in prison and used the phone to coordinate the activities of a meth trafficking organization operating in Terre Haute.
Hammond's girlfriend, Jennifer Poltrock, allegedly distributed the meth and marijuana to drug dealers who worked for Hammond.
Initial hearings are scheduled Monday.
