(UNDATED) - Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller says a new state law could provide restitution for homeowners who were defrauded by an escrow company.
Zoeller says the law also creates new regulations to protect homeowners in the future.
Thousands of homeowners in the midwest believed American Escrow was making their tax and insurance payments, only to find out the bills were not paid and their accounts with the company were empty.
