(STATEHOUSE, IN) - Several gathered at the Indiana Statehouse to remember those who have died while on the job.
91 Hoosier names were read and flowers placed under a plaque in their honor by family, friends, and state workers from the labor department and Workers' Compensation Fund.
Governor Mitch Daniels gave remarks saying that this is and should be personal for everyone, recalling the father of a stat employee who died last year and two state employee names added to this year's list.
Workers' memorial day began in 1989 and is remembered every April 28th on the anniversary of the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
