(UNDATED) - The Indiana State Medical Association is participating in a nationwide petition drive to collect one million signatures urging congress to make changes to Medicare’s payment formula.
In March, congress delayed a 21.2% cut to physicians who see Medicare patients, but it is now scheduled to take effect April 14th.
The ISMA is pushing for a permanent solution.
They're urging people to add their names to the medicare petition campaign before congress reconvenes this week.
