(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The criminal charges against a suspected child molester are growing.
27-year-old Luis Gonzales is accused of preying upon at least six Hispanic victims, two of them young girls, on the west-side of Indianapolis between January and May.
He faces a variety of felony counts, ranging from criminal confinement and sexual battery to child molesting.
One of the cases involves the alleged sexual assault of an 11-year-old girl earlier this month at the Heather Ridge Apartments.
Brizzi says Gonzales was arrested Saturday in the area after police found him sleeping in his truck with the b-b gun he allegedly used in the attacks on or near his lap.
It's the same truck he allegedly used to approach another female victim prior to molesting her.
Gonzales is also being investigating for at least three other sexual assaults, and authorities believe there may be other victims who remain silent.
Brizzi is asking any additional witnesses to come forward.
Undocumented residents who have been victimized will not be turned over to immigration officials.
