(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - A teacher at an IPS elementary school is facing accusations of fondling a 7-year-old student.
The accuser's mother says it happened when her son got in trouble during class and was put in "time out."
That's when the teacher allegedly fondled the student. A police report was filed, then transferred to Child Protective Services.
IMPD detectives claim the student's story had changed when being interviewed by CPS, saying he was not fondled by his teacher.
Mary Louise Bewley, Director of Student and Community Relations with IPS, says they are awaiting the results of the CPS investigation before any action is taken.
The accused teacher is still teaching at the school and the student has been moved to a different class.
