(INDIANA STATEHOUSE) - Indiana’s jobless rate is back to double digits.
The Department of Workforce Development says the unemployment rate for April is 10%, a .1% increase since March.
That's despite the addition of 22,700 jobs in April, the largest over-the-month increase in employment since February 1999.
Department of Workforce Development Spokesman Marc Lotter blames the uptick in unemployment to the number of Hoosiers who had left the job market earlier but returned in April.
