(INDIANA STATEHOUSE) - Legislative Democrats are growing uneasy about the spending cuts Governor Daniels has ordered to keep the state in the black.
Daniels has ordered state agencies to find savings totaling 15% of their budgets.
House Speaker Patrick Bauer says legislators have let their authority over the budget slip away over the years, and says the Governor's impoundment power should be "tempered greatly."
He says lawmakers should have had more input into where cuts were made.
