(COLUMBUS, IN) - A former Columbus Police Officer is accused of stealing pain medication from a family member and forging relatives’ names to refill their prescriptions while he served as an officer.
Mark Williams, who resigned from Columbus Police Department in May of 2009 after 16 years of service, was arrested on six counts of forgery.
He is being held on $40,000 bond or 10 percent cash in Bartholomew County Jail.
