(NEW CASTLE, IN) - A piranha was pulled out of a public pond in new castle, Indiana on Sunday.
15-year-old Tim Wells first thought it was a "weird looking bluegill."
Wells and his friend found the piranha dead and floating near the shore in a pond at Memorial Park.
Incapable of surviving Indiana winters, a state conservation officer believes the fish lived in an aquarium until recently when someone dumped it in the pond.
