(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Donut Girls through the Salvation Army will hold an exhibit Tuesday at the Indiana War Memorial in downtown Indianapolis.
Director of Planned Giving for the Salvation Army JoAnn Remender says a coffee and donut reception is scheduled for 1:30 and the dedication is at 2.
She says during World War II, the girls served the troops on the frontline cooking for them and mending uniforms.
She says several things will be on display including original uniforms and utensils
