(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The search for a missing newborn continues; this time with crews digging around the massive Clinton County landfill.
By Monday afternoon, investigators were able to determine close to where that neighborhood's trash was located.
Two weeks ago, 19-year-old Tasha Miller told Indianapolis Metro Police she gave birth, but wouldn't say where the child ended up.
She mentioned putting the baby in a dumpster outside her east side apartment.
Indianapolis Metro Police Sergeant Linda Jackson says this is one of the strongest leads they have from Miller.
She is facing a neglect charge. Jackson says, once they find a body, more charges are probably coming. The search will most likely continue today.
