(KOKOMO) - Chrysler group is making a $300 million dollar investment in its Kokomo facilities to produce a new highly efficient, eight-speed automatic transmission.
The automaker says it is the largest U.S. investment since the new Chrysler was formed last year.
The investment will help retain nearly 1,200 jobs in Kokomo.
