(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office is taking a strong stance against those who owe back child support while offering a chance to step up to the plate.
Carl Brizzi announced criminal nonsupport charges against 12 men who owe in excess of $15,000.
Brizzi says the 12, who owe between $27,000 and $130,000 in support, have the means but have chosen not to pay.
Two of the men on the list are attorneys whose licenses to practice law have been suspended as a result of their nonpayment.
