(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Neither the rain or the economy helped keep brickyard race fans in check this weekend.
Indiana State Police Sgt. Rich Myers says fewer than 20 arrests were made around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday.
Most of the arrests were made for underage drinking or fans who had too much to drink and got out of control.
Police say fewer fans attending the race also helped keep the number of arrests down.
But he points out that is a common trend at most racing venues.
