Al Sharpton Makes Appearance In Indy

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Reverend Al Sharpton spoke to a crowd of thousand Sunday night at the Eastern Star Baptist Church in Indianapolis.

The main message was of the safety of the youth in Indianapolis.

The visit drew criticism because of its timing, so close to the Indiana Black Expo.

The Minister's Alliance says the timing is a coincidence and that the message was to promote safety and not violence.
