(INDIANA STATEHOUSE) - The Indiana Attorney General’s Office has determined bus rider fees are unconstitutional.
In response to a request from the state board of accounts, the Attorney General's office says state law doesn't allow public school districts to charge students a fee for taking the bus to and from school.
The request came after Franklin Township Schools announced a plan to charge $75 dollars per student this fall.
