(UNDATED) - Some students at Ivy Tech Community College are having difficulties transferring credits for a number of reasons.
School President Tom Synder says the school has very specific transfer agreements with a number of Indiana universities.
He describes the two plus two program where students get two years at Ivy Tech then two years at another school.
Synder says problems arise when students try to transfer the credits themselves without knowledge of requirements.
He urges students to consult with an advisor.
He says he doesn't think the problem will hurt the states push to attain higher graduation rates.
