(UNDATED) - The National Weather Service is confirming a tornado touchdown Tuesday evening in southern Johnson County.
Meteorologist Dan McCarthy says the E-F Zero tornado touched down at about 7:20PM in a cornfield three miles southeast of Trafalgar.
McCarthy says wind speeds were from 45 to 60 mph and damage was limited to a tin-roofed animal barn.
