(TERRE HAUTE, IN) - A Hoosier law-enforcement officer is back home after making a difference on the other side of the world.
Terre Haute Police Chief John Plasse is a member of the Indiana National Guard.
He returned home after a tour of duty in Afghanistan.
Plasse's mission was to help train afghan security forces.
He says things aren't improving as quickly as we would like, but he believes he made a difference during his time in the Middle East.
