(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - A possible buyer has been found for the General Motors Stamping Plant in Indianapolis.
But the buyer wants local united auto workers members to accept pay and benefit concessions.
Gerry Dick of Inside Indiana Business says the local UAW members are balking at the idea, even though the national union is negotiating a concessions deal with the buyer.
Dick says many of the 700 hourly workers at the plant could be out of a job in 2011 if they don't make concessions.
