(UNDATED) - The Triple-A Hoosier Motor Club says the average cost for a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Indiana is now $2.76 compared with $2.34 a year ago.
Two years ago at this time the U.S. average for self-serve regular soared above $4 per gallon, hitting an all-time high of $4.11 on July 17th.
Triple-A says summertime usually brings higher demand which influences retail prices.
