(WALKERTON, IN) - A dog was boiled alive after jumping into water fouled with scalding hot illegal discharge.
The polluted water comes from a mint farm that now faces fines.
The dog's owner sustained third degree burns when he tried to save his dog.
The Indiana Department of Environmental Management said the handling of the case is the latest example of the continuous dismantling of Indiana's environmental enforcement.
