(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Humane Society of Indianapolis is expressing outrage over the discovery of an illegal dog fighting operation on the northwest side of the city.
Spokeswoman Christine Jesky says local residents should be alarmed by the discovery because dog fighting operations typically come with drugs, guns and other forms of violence.
23 people are facing charges in connection with the bust after nine pit bulls were found fighting in a blood-soaked arena.
