(COLUMBUS, IN) - 34-year-old Russell Rossman of Columbus was sentenced Tuesday morning to eight and a half years in prison for the attempted theft of anhydrous ammonia in northern Bartholomew County last March.
His accomplice, 37-year-old Kevin Edwards of Columbus, was sentenced earlier.
The incident caused the release of a poisonous cloud that delayed the start of area schools and forced the evacuation of residents near Taylorsville.
The pair's driver, 26-year-old Ashlie Walsh of Columbus, will have a jury trial on August 31st.
She's also charged with trying to smuggle meth and tobacco to Rossman while he was in the Bartholomew County Jail.
