(FAIRLAND, IN) - The Humane Society of the United States, along with the Indiana Gaming Commission and Shelby County Sheriff’s Department raided a home in Fairland Wednesday where they say roosters were being bred for cockfighting.
The humane society launched an investigation after seeing a picture of Wally Clemens in a cockfighting magazine.
More than 200 roosters were removed from the residence.
