(MUNCIE) - A study out of Ball State University found that teachers suffer from sleep-deprivation and are concerned about the effectiveness in the classroom.
Physiology Professor Dr. Denise Amschler conducted the survey of over a hundred teachers, administrators and support staff.
Her findings put teachers right at the national average for other professions in getting just over 6 hours of sleep a night.
Dr. Amschler says about 43% of those responding say they get less than 6 hours a night.
