(CRAWFORDSVILLE, IN) - A fatal shooting involving a 10-year-old Crawfordsville girl remains under investigation.
Savannah Ross was shot by her mother's boyfriend, Steven Bixler Saturday.
Bixler told police he intended on scaring the girl when he entered her room and pointed a rifle at her.
However, the weapon discharged.
Bixler is charged with criminal recklessness, reckless homicide and pointing a firearm.
