(MOSCOW, IN) - Two years after announcing formation of a coalition to raise funds to rebuild the Moscow Covered Bridge, Governor Mitch Daniels returned to the Southern Rush County Community Saturday to reopen it.
The governor joined at a dedication ceremony by residents, historical experts and craftsmen who contributed thousands of volunteer hours or materials toward the project.
The original bridge, which had stood for some 122 years was destroyed by a tornado in June 2008.
