(UNDATED) - The radical call of a Florida minister encouraging people to burn a Quran on September 11th is being met with thoughtful opposition in Indianapolis.
A group of students at IUPUI is encouraging people to read a Quran, Torah, or Bible instead.
Muslim Alliance of Indiana Executive Director Shariq Siddiqui says the feeling of hatred toward Muslims is high in the country right now.
He says while the act of burning the Quran won't shake the Muslim faith, it does remind him of the hatred toward Jews displayed in Nazi Germany when books were burned there.
