(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Hundreds of central Indiana schoolchildren were sent home Monday after not receiving the proper immunizations.
The state's largest school district sent home over 1,600 students after they failed to get their shots.
The move comes after a new state law requiring three additional vaccines for school-age children.
The Marion County Health Department is closing this week to devote all their time to clinics for the students who are not up to date with their shots.
