(ANDERSON, IN) - Animal control officials plan to remove 40 cats from an Anderson home that has been ruled as unsafe by the building commissioner.
The cats were discovered in a home by emergency responders who went to the home on a medical run earlier this week.
The cats are believed to be in various states of health.
The occupants of the home, described by authorities as hoarders, have already been relocated by social service agencies.
