(FOWLER, IN) - An 58-year-old man accused of killing his girlfriend on their intended wedding day has been found guilty by a Benton County jury.
Steven Farrell says the shooting of Christine Craig was accidental, claiming the gun discharged when he fell down.
Craig was shot in front of her 16-year-old daughter on an isolated road in November 2009.
Farrell pleaded guilty to a separate charge of unlawful possession of a handgun by a serious violent felon.
