(TERRE HAUTE, IN) - A Terre Haute man was arrested Thursday for a murder committed in Vigo County 31 years ago.
53-year-old Richard L. Boswell, Jr. of Terre Haute was arrested Thursday.
He's accused of the strangulation death of then 20-year-old Kathy Jo Baker of Riley, Indiana.
Baker was found dead in May of 1979 near Riley in southeastern Vigo County.
Boswell is also accused of attempting to murder her son, Kenneth, who was almost 3-years-old old at the time.
The investigation reopened two years ago on a tip.
