(UNDATED) - Governor Mitch Daniels will lead a trade mission to China and Japan in hopes of creating new jobs in Indiana.
Daniels and a group of about 40 leaders from state government, communities and private companies will leave Indianapolis on Saturday and return in two weeks.
It marks the governor's fifth economic development visit to Japan and his second to china since taking office in 2005.
Daniels expects the latest trip to be a fruitful one, noting the cost will be covered by private donations made to the Indiana Economic Development Foundation.
