(INDIANA STATEHOUSE) - There may be a recount in a Southern Indiana House District race.
Indiana Secretary of State Todd Rokita says the ballots in the District 76 race between Democrat Bob Dieg and Republican Wendy McNamara have been impounded by the Indiana Recount Commission at the request of one of the candidates.
Preliminary results show Dieg defeating McNamara by 30 votes.
Candidates have 14 days immediately following the election to request recount.
The local parties have 3 additional days to file their recount request.
