(BROWNSBURG, IN) - Parents of students at Brownsburg East Middle School are on alert after a case of meningitis was reported at the school.
A female student contracted the disease and is currently in the hospital.
She has been out of school for several days. Donna Petraits of Brownsburg Community Schools says despite the case, the school won't undergo any extensive cleaning.
Parents were sent an email and a voicemail informing them of the case.
