(INDIANA STATEHOUSE) - Governor Mitch Daniels says he would sign a statewide smoking ban into law.
Daniels says local bans have shown that the pros outweigh the cons.
He notes growing support throughout the state for a comprehensive ban.
State Representative Charlie Brown (D-Gary) plans again to sponsor a bill that would prohibit indoor smoking statewide in public places.
