(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Homeless shelters across Indiana are overwhelmed thanks to the frigid temperatures.
Steve Kerr with Wheeler Mission in Indianapolis says they're taking in overflow from several other shelters across the city.
Kerr says the city enacted the "Cold Weather Plan" to get the homeless into the shelters on nights like these at the start of November.
Kerr says anyone who needs to get out of the cold can call 211 for assistance.
Kerr says they will find you a place to sleep, even if it's on the floor.
