(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - An Indianapolis man will spend 30 years in prison for his conviction on federal drug trafficking charges.
30-year-old Michael Jackson received his sentence today in U.S. District Court.
A year-long FBI investigation revealed Jackson as the head of a cocaine operation in Indianapolis originally based in Gary.
Jackson was also described as the "enforcer" of the operation.
Officials had wire-tapped phone conversations of Jackson threatening the lives of rival drug dealers and their children.
