(UNDATED) - It’s an annual tradition for many families to bundle up and brave the cold to find the perfect live Christmas tree.
But there's a growing trend. Some retailers are teaming up with tree farmers and selling real Christmas trees over the internet.
The Indiana Christmas Tree Growers Association says it's not aware of any Hoosier tree farms participating.
The association's Kerry Dull says many customers are still visiting Indiana Christmas tree farms each year because of the pleasant memories and family traditions.
As a Christmas tree producing state Indiana ranks 11th in the nation with 200 tree farms producing almost 200,000 harvestable trees per year.
