(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - A former “Superintendent of the Year” is apologizing for his DUI arrest.
Decatur Township Superintendent Don Stinson says he knows he "messed up" when he got behind the wheel of his vehicle after drinking inside a Hendricks County bar.
Police say his blood alcohol level was .12 percent when they pulled him over last weekend for swerving all over the road.
Stinson says a recent split with his wife of 39 years may have added to his stress, but he says that is no excuse.
