(INDIANA STATEHOUSE) - As expected, Governor Daniels has used his state of the state address to prod legislators to enact his education proposals.
Daniels wants private-school vouchers for families who can't afford tuition, and a statewide authorizing board to create more charter schools.
Daniels also trumpeted the state's success in holding the line on taxes and spending to weather the recession, and called on legislators to do it one more time.
