(INDIANA STATEHOUSE) - Legislators are wrestling with the best way to ban so-called synthetic marijuana.
The senate votes today on a bill banning various substances which mimic the chemical makeup of marijuana, or its active ingredient, THC.
A house committee unanimously approved its own version on Wednesday.
But the bills' lists of banned compounds aren't quite the same.
And legislators acknowledge manufacturers of Spice, K2 and other forms of synthetic marijuana are likely to come up with new compounds to circumvent the law.
