Officer Charged With Battery, Misconduct

(FRANKLIN, IN) - A Franklin Police Officer accused of inappropriately touching a female informant has been suspended by the Police Merit Commission.

35-year-old Bryan Burton was charged last month with battery and official misconduct.

Franklin Police Chief Tim O'Sullivan recommended the suspension.

Another hearing is scheduled for February 1st.
