(STATEHOUSE) - A proposed statewide smoking ban is shrinking.
The house has voted to exempt bars, veterans organizations and other private clubs, and veterans homes from the ban.
The bill already exempted casinos.
Several legislators argue that exemption opens the door to excluding bars as well.
The bill could come up for a final house vote today.
